Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

As part of an ongoing requirement highlighted in the Departmental Informatics Management Plan, BLC was contracted to provide support, programming/analysis for upgrades/enhancements, for AGRIFIN, a customized version of GFA an AMS core product.

The requirements /deliverables for completion of the contract period included:

	Enhancement of existing interface between Customs and Agriculture
	Enhancement of the interest on overdue accounts module;
	Analyses and offers resolution to complex problems
	AGRIFIN/Core related maintenance including; troubleshooting, programming, analysis; analyze and review existing financial systems requirements in light of the increasing number of cost recovery program initiatives and future replacement considerations
	Detailed design documents for each new AGRIFIN functionality.

This work entailed ongoing efforts to streamline AGRIFIN, to create a more user-friendly front-end for data capture, and to address users needs for downloading and on-site report generation, etc.

Oracle/SAP Financials: At Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, we provided analysis and programming in the task of extracting data from an Oracle database for inclusion in the new SAP Financial System
