As part of ongoing growth and support needs, BLC was contracted
to provide several distinct duties.
Our consultants were called upon to develop and prepare workstation
installation procedures and plans for the IT Infrastructure Implementation.
BLC managed the deployment of workstations, including planning
and controlling the activities of the installation team and ensured
that the inventory of hardware/software was maintained. BLC
participated with the workstation installations as required.
BLC was further contracted to provide PC LAN support for
a client communication of 30, 000 users. BLC was directly
involved in the areas of diagnostic maintenance to hardware, in
the trouble-shooting of micro-based applications and software, the
installation, set-up, and testing of various equipment such as personal
computers, printers, etc.. BLC also installed Windows 95,
MS Office, and other software.
BLC consultants were also on hand to offer Help Desk support,
both on-call and on-site.
